Many people learned how to shoot with a Daisy BB gun. In 1948, Daisy partnered up with schools and other organizations to add target shooting with BB guns a part of school’s physical education curriculum. In the 1960’s Daisy partnered with the U.S. Junior Chambers (the Jaycees) to establish a nationwide youth shooting education program.
Daisy created a Ten Lesson Curriculum for Shooting Education which helps give lessons to the students and provides the instructor with goals, requirements for space, range personnel and materials.
We need someone to take over this program. This is a fun program which helps the next generation learn gun safety, shooting positions/techniques, site adjustments and scoring.
Daisy will provide all the course materials. The Jr. Rifle Club has 8 functioning Daisy 887 match grade CO2 rifles that are available to use with this program.
If you are interested in helping get this program started again, please contact Paul Angelicchio.
